Mountainwood 204 · Breckenridge, Colorado
Your year-round Breckenridge basecamp.
Park the car Friday — you won't need it again.
Our two-bedroom vacation rental sits in the sliver of Breckenridge between the Peak 9 lift and Main Street — three minutes to one, one minute to the other. Summer, fall, spring corn snow, or knee-deep January: all four seasons work from here.

A note from your hosts
This is our place. We just share it.
We're not a property-management company with forty listings and a lockbox. Mountainwood 204 is where our own family comes to exhale — which is why the kitchen has a crockpot and real knives, why there are board games and a guest book under the TV, and why the grill matches live in the drawer above the fridge, exactly where you'd hope they'd be.
Everyone books Breckenridge for the skiing. Fair. But the trip that turns people into regulars is usually the summer one: bikes on the rec path, rafts on the Blue, a coaster on Peak 8, dinner on the deck while it's 95° back home. The pool opens Memorial Day. The crepe trolley never really closes.

The details below aren't a template list — they're the things our guests actually mention in reviews.
See the full tour & gallery- A kitchen guests write reviews about
- Crockpot, blender, wine & beverage cooler, real knives, and a pantry we actually keep stocked. "Kitchen was much nicer than the typical ski condo" — we take that personally.
- Four hot tubs & a heated pool
- Three minutes down a pine-lined path. Two of the tubs are covered — soaking while it snows is the whole point.
- The garage spot
- One dedicated space in the underground garage, pass on the dash. Your windshield never sees frost. (6'6" clearance — leave the roof box home.)
- A family room built for evenings in
- Gas fireplace on a thermostat, cable plus streaming, a Blu-ray library, a PlayStation the kids inexplicably love, board games, and a guest book going back years.
- The deck
- Gas grill, table with an umbrella, lounge chairs, and dinner at 9,600 feet. Grill matches are in the drawer above the fridge.
- The small stuff, handled
- Fast WiFi (code's on the fridge), ski hooks in the entry, luggage carts by the elevator, laundry down the hall, pool towels in the closet.
Guests, unprompted
“I have been going to Breck for the last 8 years and I say this is by far my favorite place to stay. A combination of being so close to everything and at an awesome rate is hard to beat. I would take a 5 min walk to Quicksilver Chair over a ski-in/ski-out on 4 O'Clock any day of the week.”
“Great location. Very comfortable from the beds to the furniture. Well stocked with everything we needed. Kids enjoyed the pool.”
“This is absolutely the perfect location for a ski outing starting at Peak 9. You can see the lift from the front of the building! It is right next to shopping and restaurants at the same time. I don't think we could have found a better location in Breckenridge! The place is spacious and very clean. The parking in the garage is a nice bonus! We will definitely come back.”
