June — September
Summer & fall in the high country
Blue-sky days in the 70s, cool evenings, wildflowers, and a town full of festivals. Everything below is minutes from the condo — most of it on foot or by free bus.
Hiking & Biking
Trails for everyone — from gentle riverside paths through town to high-alpine routes with views of three 14ers. Rent bikes in town and ride the paved rec path to Frisco.
Epic Discovery at Peak 8
The Gold Runner Coaster, alpine slides, scenic chairlift rides, ziplines, and a ropes course — a full day of family fun on the mountain.
Whitewater Rafting & Golf
Raft the Blue, Arkansas, or Colorado rivers with local outfitters, or play a round at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Breckenridge Golf Club.
Festivals All Summer
July 4th parade, Festival of the Arts, live music, farmers markets, and Oktoberfest — town is buzzing from June through September.

November — April
World-class winter, 3 minutes from your door
Wake up, walk to the Quicksilver lift, ski five peaks, walk home, soak in the hot tub, stroll to dinner. Repeat.
World-class skiing
Breckenridge Resort spans five peaks with 34 lifts and 187 trails, averaging ~300 inches of snow a year. The Quicksilver lift and ski school at Peak 9 are a 3-minute walk from the door.
Snowboarding heritage
The first Colorado resort to welcome snowboarders and host of the 1986 World Snowboard Championships — with world-class terrain parks to match.
Après & town life
Walk back from the slopes, soak in the hot tubs, then stroll to Main Street for dinner — no car, no shuttle, no parking hassle.
April — early June
Spring: the season locals keep to themselves
The fourth season is the sleeper. Ski corn snow in the morning, walk an empty Main Street in the afternoon, and catch the rivers waking up — all at the year's friendliest rates.
Spring skiing into May
Breckenridge is usually among the last Colorado resorts to close — lifts often spin into May. Soft corn snow, sunny bluebird laps, and a fraction of the holiday crowds.
The quiet-season deal
Late April through early June is when locals get their town back: restaurant tables without a wait, mud-season specials, and the best nightly rates of the year on the condo.
Whitewater wakes up
Snowmelt sends the Blue, Arkansas, and Colorado rivers rising from late May into June — the biggest water of the rafting season, with local outfitters running trips daily.

Buy lift tickets early
Booking about a month ahead on Epic's site can save $100+ per lift ticket vs. walk-up prices. Skiing more than a few days? An Epic Day Pass usually beats individual tickets.

The Free Ride Breck bus is free and connects the whole town, including Peak 8 and Epic Discovery. From the condo, you can walk to the Peak 9 lift, Main Street, and the grocery store.
